It’s that time of year again — International Quirkyalone<\/a>Day!<\/p>\n

Yesterday was Kaffeestunde<\/em> in the department, which meant that today there were leftover cookies in the copy room: heart and rose-shaped short-breadish-things with pink and rose sprinkles on top.<\/p>\n

I had a couple.<\/p>\n

No coffee again today until my trip to Fair Trade in the afternoon. They were packed, and with my glasses fogged it was hard to find the single available table, which happened to be right behind me when I was standing at the register. It was, however, deceiving, for the previous user of the table had left their empty coffee cup behind — a no-no! — and so until we examined the empty cup and determined that no one was returning to the table from the bathroom or such we weren’t certain whether the table was still “occupied.”<\/p>\n

In any case, I got a table, a hot cup of coffee, and a glass of water to quench my thirst. I finished Jasper Fforde’s Something Rotten<\/em> (guest-starring Hamlet, Prince of Denmark), then packed up, and caught a 4 direction home.<\/p>\n

This evening I am finishing “I” — I’m on Iron Maiden (Piece of Mind) now, and had the joy of INXS earlier. I especially recommend the dance mix of the following:<\/p>\n
