A long Saturday … (happy Cinco de Mayo)
Up at 6:45. Shower. Bus to town. Breakfast at/in Rathskeller. Meet Manfred at 9 as well as Heather. Do lights. Do more lights. Break. Try cues. Lunch. Everyone else shows up.
Another week ends … updates
This evening I went out with Jen and Christoph and William. I am fond of run-ons, near-run-ons, hyphenated phrases, and either over- or under-use of commmas. But let’s back up.

Reunion: Friday mini-update
Thursday night in Santa Monica with Leena … great Asian food and a nice walk on the 3rd Street Promenade. I, curiously enough, had never been there during my years at Pomona.
Said the barista; “Oh my god … oh. You didn’t hear that.”
As for the barista, who served me my coffee but was cleaning up near the window when he said that, I think he was partaking of a little people-watching as a particularly attractive young woman walked by.
