Reunion: Friday mini-update
Thursday night in Santa Monica with Leena … great Asian food and a nice walk on the 3rd Street Promenade. I, curiously enough, had never been there during my years at Pomona.
Said the barista; “Oh my god … oh. You didn’t hear that.”
As for the barista, who served me my coffee but was cleaning up near the window when he said that, I think he was partaking of a little people-watching as a particularly attractive young woman walked by.
I’m off to see the wizard …
The taxi will be here at 4:40 in the morning. I’ll be at the airport shortly after 5, for a 6-am-ish flight. To Denver then Ontario.
It’s Martini Time
Chatted with some old “friends” this evening.
It was shorts and mini-skirts weather.
