I was going to write about all the pre-Thanksgiving cleaning and cooking (so that I don’t have to cook as much Thursday, and so that the place is presentable for guests). But while working in the kitchen my mind wandered and I had another topic to address.
This afternoon/evening we’re off to do our Thanksgiving grocery shopping. I planned a menu a few weeks ago and have modified it only a bit since then. The goal is to hit many of the favorites while at the same time keeping it all rather healthful.
I stayed with the dogs until mid-day; then I packed up and drove back home, enjoying a nice, uneventful drive along the way. Inside/Below:

Plus the person on the highway doing a constant 40mph in a 55 zone for about ten miles, with no passing lanes available. I was amused, but the truck in front of me … livid. The driver, that is.

3. Went to a rehearsal tonight and took 100+ photos for the director.
Plus: lentils + bulgur + sweet potato? YUM.
