Last night I had the joy of rewatching The Two Towers, which I almost like more as a movie than as a book, even though there are a few Sam and Frodo scenes, especially toward the end, that just seem to go too slowly. Sure, it’s “character development,” but it’s boring.
And it was colder in northern Wisconsin. On the news I just heard that parts of the northern Wisconsin got 20 inches.

So here I sit this afternoon at Mother Fool’s so as to get out of the apartment for a while. In addition Colonial Management said they would like to show the place between 4 and 6, so I’d rather not be there.
I’m not a huge sports fan, but damn … I saw part of the Dallas – Phoenix NBA match today, and it was fine. The 3rd and 4th quarters … amazingly athletic. If all basketball lived up to that level (well, except Dallas’s lack of defense ….)
I digress.
Today it’s raining off an on, but the best part is/was … thunder. I’m glad I shut my windows last night before I went to bed.
… and so I had to teach, albeit briefly.

I don’t know exactly how Russendisko went over with the students; for all but Natallia and Sara it was clearly rather difficult, though most of them picked out some good details.
My mp3s from/of Our Lady Peace are a bit f**ked up; I think “Automatic Flowers” is cut short, and “Clumsy” clearly comes from a skipping-CD. I’m not too fond of the music and can imagine myself deleting it to free hard drive space.
